Toshiba SD-H903A High-Def Desktop DVD Writer

This is the latest DVD writer – Toshiba’s high definition (HD) DVD writer for desktop PC’s, offering six times more resolution than the present standard DVD format. That means you can create high definition content on a DVD and play it back in all its high definition glory on your high definition TV.

The Toshiba SD-H903A HD-DVD writer provides high-definition video editing and content creation capabilities on desktop systems and media centers that use this increasingly popular next-generation DVD technology. The new SD-H903A is backward compatible with legacy formats, meaning it can read and write CD’s and DVD’s the old way, plus new support for high-definition DVD content.

HD DVD provides 30GB of storage when used with dual layer discs. That means virtually unlimited storage capacity to store all your high-quality images and your collection of movies and music.
